I've been teaching Pilates in rural Wiltshire, UK since 2013. Teaching in studios, village halls, people's homes and even in the open air throughout the county.


Trained by the prestigious Body Control Pilates® in London, I have been really lucky to work with a huge variety of teachers and clients, most of which have  become great friends along the way.

I wanted to bring Pilates to everyone, not just the gym bunnies of the world but those of us who perhaps might benefit even more from Joseph Pilates' revolutionary exercises that I have found so beneficial to me over the years and removed my years of back pain from a horse-riding accident.

Our classes are fun and we have a lot of laughs, it's not just exercise but a great way to meet people and enjoy moving your body.

Pilates exercise is performed in comfortable clothing, generally leggings, T-shirt, joggers, shorts or sports clothing and with bare feet or socks. It may be useful to have a small hand towel, cushion, mat and a water bottle if required.

Prior to joining a class for the first time, it is recommended that you undertake a private 1:1 session so that we can assess your body and its movement patterns and look at specific areas to work on. Likewise, it allows us to get to know each other a bit and to discuss anything you need to ask. The cost of this induction is £25/h.

Similarly, you will need to complete and sign a client enrolment/medical form which you can download here. This is essential prior to joining a session/class as you must be medically fit to do so.

Classes are fun! and there is no sense of competition in class, besides you will be too busy concentrating on what you are doing. There is never any pressure to perform exercises that feel unsuitable for you and our aim is for you to enjoy discovering and maintaining your new body!

All classes and sessions are being held online at present due to the current world crisis with Covid-19 and therefore it is essential that you are fit to exercise and participate in the sessions. The classes are not designed for rehabilitation or for people who do not have a generally good level of fitness.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit to participate although if you are ever unsure of an exercise, if in doubt leave it out!
