Group classes are specifically held in your community; private sessions in your own home. We believe in bringing Pilates to your doorstep and that exercise should be part if your normal routine, so you shouldn't have to travel too far to enjoy it.
Group classes are booked as a course which may be between 11 and 14 weeks long depending on timings. Pilates is not suitable as a drop in class as we aim to develop and enhance strength and skills over a period of time; the course being thoroughly planned for the clients in each class and to address any specific body imbalances individuals may have.
The equivalent cost per class is £10/hour but the courses are only bookable in advance with full payment.

Pilates exercise is performed in comfortable clothing, generally leggings, T-shirt, joggers, shorts or sports clothing. It is performed with bare feet or socks. It would also be good if you can bring a small hand towel and a water bottle if required. All other equipment that we may use will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own exercise mat if you wish to.
Prior to joining a class for the first time, it is recommended that you undertake a private 1:1 session so that we can assess your body and its movement patterns and look at specific areas to work on. Likewise, it allows us to get to know each other a bit and to discuss anything you need to ask. These are bookable at a cost of £50/hour. All equipment provided.
Similarly, you will need to complete and sign a client enrolment/medical form which you can download here. This is essential prior to coming to class as you must be medically fit to do so.
Classes are fun! and there is no sense of competition in class, besides you will be too busy concentrating on what you are doing. There is never any pressure to perform exercises that feel unsuitable for you and our aim is for you to enjoy discovering and maintaining your new body!
